Industrial Designers commonly need to design objects that can be quickly tested and prototyped in real life. Prototyping can come with its own set of constraints and parameters depending on how you’re planning on making something.

This course will explore 3 common prototyping methods: 3D printing, CNC milling and laser cutting. We will design objects specifically for these 3 approaches and discuss some of the constraints that we will need to embed into our designs.
