What is The Different Design?
The Different Design is an educational platform for designers, architects, engineers and artists. We provide training in Rhino, Grasshopper, Maya and 3D rendering & visualisation. Our courses provide opportunities for beginner, intermediate and advanced users to upskill and learn new digital design techniques.
Each lesson balances the technical fundamentals of each software alongside design application skills, providing our students with skills that are transferrable to real world design projects and problems.

The Different Design offers an enormous library of Grasshopper for Rhino video lessons on various parametric design workflows.
Some of the workflows available to members of The Different Design include the simulation of complex physics systems using the Kangaroo plugin, environmental analysis tools for architects & engineers using the Ladybug plugin, looping & behavioural algorithms using the Anemone plugin, growth and pattern algorithms referencing characteristics found in nature, and more!
Our courses offer learning opportunities for all levels of expertise, ranging from Grasshopper fundamental courses for beginners new to the software, all the way up writing code in C# inside Grasshopper. Our library of learning materials will turn you into an expert in no time!
