In this course we’re going to take a first look at the new Sub D tools available in Rhino 7. Sub D modelling in Rhino is essentially taking a leaf out of more organic modelling software’s, such as Blender or Maya. Sub D is similar to the polygonal modelling you might find in these typoes of software’s, and serves as a great extension of Rhino’s capabilitites to provide better tools and greater flexibility when creating organic chapes and objects.
What you'll learn
Understand the concept fo Sub D polygonal modelling and how it differs to other types of geometry modelling in Rhino
Understand how to create Sub D primtiives in Rhino and edit & manipulate them
Explore how Sub D modelling can be practical as a tool for design sketching
